ILR owns and operates this website. We recognize that vistors to our site may be concerned about the information they provide to us and how we treat that information. This page addresses some of those concerns. The policy may be updated or changed from time to time.

If you have questions about our privacy policy, you may contact us by E-mail or call during working hours. We are available to answer your questions and hear your concerns.

Personal Information

ILR collects personal information from its users.  ILR uses this information solely to support the operation of the Institute.  No information is provided to third parties except as required by law.

Registration and Payment Information

When you register as a user of the site, we will ask you for your E-mail address. We use this information to permit you to reset your password etc.
When you join ILR, we collect your name, address, E-mail address, and telephone numbers. We collect this information to send you information about program offerings.
When you register for an event, we collect your name, address, E-mail address, and telephone numbers. We use this information to communicate with you regarding the event.
When you use the site contact form, we’ll ask for your name, telephone number, and E-mail address so we may contact you if needed.
ILR does not make member information available to advertisers.

Course Registrations

ILR keeps records of course registrations to permit us to contact you in the event that a program must be rescheduled or canceled. We treat course registrations as personal information and do not disclose it except as required by law.

A contractor website maintains our course registration information. They retain your name, contact information, Email address, telephone numbers, and credit card number to allow you to enroll as a member, register for classes, and pay for membership services and programs. Our contractor treats this information as confidential and does not release it to third parties except as required by US law.

Site Navigation Behavior

We collect information on the browsing habits of users, and the companies (Google and our web host) that provide that service also have access to that information. This site collects information using cookies and javascript, so if they are enabled in your browser, information can be collected, such as your browser type, operating system, IP address, and country.

This information is only used for statistical purposes and cannot identify you as an individual. That is, we use Google Analytics to determine where our audience is and what they are looking at. This information helps us to determine which content is important to our audience and how they reach it.

When you visit the site, your browser provides the following information as a part of each page request.

  • The URL requested
  • The IP address from which the request originated
  • A cookie supplied by the web site
  • The page you were looking at when you clicked a link

The URL determines the content to show to you. The IP address tells the web server where to send the information. The site uses the cookie to determine the site role associated with an action. Some information is accessible only by authenticated members. The last item allows Google Analytics to determine how our users are moving around the site.
